Direct sowing
Sow directly into a well-loosened seedbed. To use as green manure, follow these instructions: sow widely, as soon as plants are about to flower cut up the whole plant and mix with soil. Leave for at least a month for the plants to break down into organic matter. This way, stored nitrogen is slowly released into the soil. The bag contains enough for 10 m2. Divide the amount per m2 first before you start sowing.

All vegetable seeds are annuals, meaning you have to re-sow them every year, except for hardy herbs. Rosemary, thyme, sage and fennel generally survive the winter just fine.

Storing seeds
Storing seeds
On the package of your seeds you will find the shelf life. You can use them until the date you see on it. An opened package is best stored in an airtight box in a cool and dark place, such as a closet in the hallway. Not sure if the germination is still good? Then it's best to buy a new pack.
