Sustainability

We try to produce as sustainably as possible to keep our footprint small. Therefore, our mailbox boxes are made of grass paper and tomato leaf pulp is the basic component of the seed bags. The printing is either made of paper that is 30-70% recycled paper or paper that comes from agricultural waste. In addition, you have the option to plant a tree when you place an order through Regreener.

Gifting

Is (part of) your order a gift for someone? Mention it in the comments and we will wrap it nicely for you.

Please note that this product is delivered in October at the same time as the bulbs.

Bentonite is a clay mineral that occurs naturally in the soil. Clay minerals naturally hold water better. You can use it to improve sandy soils because sandy soil allows moisture and nutrients to wash away almost immediately.

Optimal soil structure is essential for the functioning of soil processes. Good air and water balance allows the soil to retain water longer during drought and to drain excess rainwater during wet weather, preventing puddles.

Use clay minerals to improve soil structure and mineral balance. Clay minerals possess enormous swelling capacity due to their specific platelet structure and have the capacity to bind large amounts of water and nutrients. In addition, they contain all essential trace elements in a balanced dosage.

Ways to apply bentonite (clay minerals):
+ When laying out the garden, mix through the soil (8 - 10 kg for 100 m2, for extra light sandy soil 10 - 20 kg per 100 m2 per year).
+ When planting new plantings, incorporate a small handful into the planting hole.
+ When planting flower bulbs, incorporate a small handful into the planting hole
