Sustainability

We try to produce as sustainably as possible to keep our footprint small. Therefore, our letterbox boxes are made of grass paper and tomato leaf pulp is the basic component of the seed bags. The printing is either made of paper that is 30-70% recycled paper or paper that comes from agricultural waste. In addition, you have the option to plant a tree when you place an order through Regreener.

Native

Native plants are native to our country. Plants from here can only be native if they have not been "played with," i.e., they must not have been grown on. Native planting is important for our biodiversity. Insects depend on them.

This is a product that is grown ecologically without pesticides or fertilizers, but has no certification for organic for practical reasons.

On clay soil, you need just the right flowers that grow well on it. This mixture is full of species that attract all kinds of insects and keep your soil healthy. Enjoy beautiful flowers all summer and late summer long. Sow as little as 25 square meters. Ecologically grown without pesticides and fertilizers.

Sowing time March- October
Sowing Density You can decide how many grams you use per square meter. On light soil use between 20 and 100 grams per 100 square meters. The higher the number of grams per square meter, the denser and fuller the mixture will grow. Is the soil extremely poor? Then increase this to 125 grams per 100 square meters.
Seeding This mixture comes into its own best if you start with an open patch of soil. Remove weeds before seeding. If necessary, sow a false bed, which means you remove all the weeds and then leave it fallow for a few more weeks to remove the next round of herbs. Sow evenly by placing the seed in trays per square meter distribute, then you can be sure you won't run short. Keep the seeds well moist.
Maintenance Mow starting in October once flowers have released seeds.

About vegetable seeds

All vegetable seeds are annuals, meaning you have to re-sow them every year, except for hardy herbs. Rosemary, thyme, sage and fennel generally survive the winter just fine.

How many hours of sunshine?

Vegetables generally like to grow in full sun. A minimum of 6 hours of sun in summer is a good guide. For annual flowers this is more, there we stick to a minimum of 8 hours of sun per day.

What soil?

Vegetables can basically be grown on any type of soil, but it varies for each type of vegetable how nutritious that soil needs to be. You can find more information about this in the description.

Storing seeds

On the package of your seeds you will find the shelf life. You can use them until the date you see on it. An opened package is best stored in an airtight box in a cool and dark place, such as a closet in the hallway. Not sure if the germination is still good? Then it's best to buy a new pack.
