Sustainability
Sustainability
We try to produce as sustainably as possible to keep our footprint small. Therefore, our letterbox boxes are made of grass paper and tomato leaf pulp is the basic component of the seed bags. The printing is either made of paper that is 30-70% recycled paper or paper that comes from agricultural waste. In addition, you have the option to plant a tree when you place an order through Regreener.

Nice fresh taste and flowers easily. A nice thing about parsley is that you can keep plucking it and the plant simply produces new leaves. It also produces beautiful umbels when you let it bloom!

Pre-seeding March - April
Direct sowing April - June
Harvest July - September
Indoor pre-sowing
Pre-sow between March and April. Sow in a large pot or seed tray with small compartments. Use seedling soil mixed with vermiculite and place in a warm place, possibly with a cover on top. Germination may take longer with early sowing. Repot once seedlings are larger than 5 cm. Transplant in open ground with 5 cm spacing.
Direct sowing
Between April and June sow directly into the soil in rows at a distance of 20 cm between rows. After germination, thin out to a distance of 2 cm between seedlings. Late sowing also gives a much later harvest, sometimes even the following year. Harvest regularly from the plant, it will regrow.
About vegetable seeds
About vegetable seeds
All vegetable seeds are annuals, meaning you have to re-sow them every year, except for hardy herbs. Rosemary, thyme, sage and fennel generally survive the winter just fine.
How many hours of sunshine?
How many hours of sunshine?
Vegetables generally like to grow in full sun. A minimum of 6 hours of sun in summer is a good guide. For annual flowers this is more, there we stick to a minimum of 8 hours of sun per day.
What soil?
What soil?
Vegetables can basically be grown on any type of soil, but it varies for each type of vegetable how nutritious that soil needs to be. You can find more information about this in the description.

Storing seeds
Storing seeds
On the package of your seeds you will find the shelf life. You can use them until the date you see on it. An opened package is best stored in an airtight box in a cool and dark place, such as a closet in the hallway. Not sure if the germination is still good? Then it's best to buy a new pack. We deliberately choose small amounts of seeds in the packs so you don't have to waste seeds. Do you have any questions about this? Call 033 - 202 43 38 or email to [email protected], and we will help you further.
