What can I expect from MAY & JUNE magazine?

MAY & JUNE magazine is a fine blend of gardening knowledge, inspiration and lifestyle. Beautiful to look at, pleasant to read and nice to keep as a reference. Everything is focused on ecological gardening, that's a given. From growing fruit to planting trees and from picking flowers to looking outside in a beautiful garden, as well as stories about people in the garden and fine tips for outings and shopping.

The entire magazine is ad-free and we publish it independently. And it is very thick! So it's more of a tome than a standard magazine. It is made by real magazine makers with lots of experience, so you can expect high quality.

How often and when is MAY & JUNE magazine published each year?

MAY & JUNE magazine is published four times a year, at the beginning of each new season.

Below is a list of release dates in 2024.

  • MAY & JUNE magazine #8: friday, june 21
  • MAY & JUNE magazine #9: friday, september 20
  • MAY & JUNE magazine #10: saturday, december 7

Can I also buy a single issue (first)?

Yes you can! MAY & JUNE magazine is available in our shop. You can also order previously published issues (while stocks last).

How can I take out a subscription?

You can choose from a quantity of subscription types, with different durations. On this page you can read more about them and (at the bottom of the page) sign up for a subscription right away.

I don't live in the Netherlands, can I subscribe?

Do you live in Belgium? Then a subscription to MAY & JUNE magazine is also a possibility! Click here for additional information and prices.

Do you not live in the Netherlands or Belgium and would still like to receive our magazine? Order a single issue through our shop.

for new subscribers

When will I receive the first issue of my subscription?

After completing your subscription, you will receive an order confirmation by e-mail. This will tell you which edition you will receive first.

The next issue of our magazine, is issue 9 - the fall issue. Don't want to miss out? Then close before 9 September you will receive it first.

After the above date has passed - for organizational reasons - the choice appears on the subscription form with which quantity you want the subscription to start. By default this is the next issue (quantity 10); for a small surcharge you can still have the subscription start with quantity 9.

n.b. Often it is also possible, for a small extra charge, to have the previously published issue sent to you afterwards. This is subject to availability and, when available, appears as an option in the subscription form.

I did not receive a confirmation of the conclusion of my subscription, now what?

This can happen if you clicked away the page too quickly after ordering. Just give Abonnementenland customer service a call, they'll fix it for you in no time!

When will I receive my welcome gift/shopping credit?

Welcome gifts/shopping credit we send out via email once every two weeks.

What is the status of my subscription? Where can I see that?

The subscriptions to MAY & JUNE magazine are managed by Abonnementenland.

Please call the customer service of Abonnementenland, they can see this for you.

Will my subscription be automatically renewed or discontinued?

Trial and gift subscriptions automatically expire upon receipt of the last issue from the subscription. You will receive a message about this. All other subscriptions are valid until cancellation.

A regular subscription is automatically renewed until cancellation. The notice period to cancel your subscription is 12 weeks. You can do this on this page.

I want to cancel my subscription

What a shame!

Payment for your subscription goes through our partner Abonnementenland. With them you can also cancel your subscription to MAY & JUNE magazine. Please contact them via [email protected] or +31 0251 - 25 79 24 (for the Netherlands) and +31 028 - 08 55 23 (for Belgium).

You can also cancel your subscription yourself at www.aboland.nl. You will need your subscription quantity to do so. Your subscription quantity is on the address carrier that comes with the magazine when you receive it at home. You can also request your subscription quantity from Abonnementenland.

I want to change my address, how do I do that?

Shipping of MAY & JUNE magazine is done through our partner Abonnementenland. With them you can also provide a new address. Please contact them via [email protected] or +31 0251 - 25 79 24 (for the Netherlands) and +31 028 - 08 55 23 (for Belgium).

You can also cancel your address change yourself at www.aboland.nl. You will need your subscription quantity to do so. Your subscription quantity is on the address carrier that comes with the magazine when you receive it at home. You can also request your subscription quantity from Abonnementenland.

My MAY & JUNE magazine hasn't arrived (yet) or is damaged, now what?

No worries, we're happy to help! There are a few possible reasons why you haven't received your MAY & JUNE magazine yet:

  • The post is delayed.
  • Your subscription may have expired.
  • Unfortunately, something went wrong with the delivery.

Shipping of MAY & JUNE magazine is through our partner Subscription Land. To find out what exactly is going on, or if your magazine has arrived damaged, please contact us at [email protected] or +31 0251 - 25 79 24 (for the Netherlands) and +31 028 - 08 55 23 (for Belgium). They can check your subscription and, if necessary, send you a new copy.
