Native plants are native to our country. Plants from here can only be native if they have not been "played with," i.e., they must not have been grown on. Native planting is important for our biodiversity. Insects depend on them.
Another hit of a native plant: Sanguisorba, or better known as pimpernel. A beautiful ornamental plant that fits in almost any border, though it prefers slightly sandy soil. Wet feet are not well tolerated.

Pre-sowing
Pre-sow in a seed tray with sowing soil mixed with 1/3rd part vermiculite. Put in a place where it gets at least 20 degrees. Germination occurs after about 2 weeks but can take much longer. If nothing germinates you can put the tray in the fridge for a few weeks for a cold period, then put in a warm place again. Transplant to P9 pot when seedlings have more than 2 sets of leaves and harden off from mid-May. Transplant with 30 cm spacing in a not too dry spot in full sun or light semi-shade.
Direct Sow
Sow directly into the ground between March and July for flowering the following year. Dwarf plant for pimpernel blue.

All vegetable seeds are annuals, meaning you have to re-sow them every year, except for hardy herbs. Rosemary, thyme, sage and fennel generally survive the winter just fine.

Vegetables generally like to grow in full sun. A minimum of 6 hours of sun in summer is a good guide. For annual flowers this is more, there we stick to a minimum of 8 hours of sun per day.

Storing seeds
Storing seeds
On the package of your seeds you will find the shelf life. You can use them until the date you see on it. An opened package is best stored in an airtight box in a cool and dark place, such as a closet in the hallway. Not sure if the germination is still good? Then it's best to buy a new pack.
